We will be returning to worship from home this week (November 11) due to the increase in COVID cases in our area.  You can find our live stream on the Facebook (click here) or call our office if you want to be added to the list to receive worship materials in the mail.  Peace be with you.

 

We are hosting an online fellowship time Monday mornings at 9am.  Check out our Facebook page for a link to a Zoom meeting at 9 am.  If you have never used Zoom before, you will be prompted to download the client.  If you do not have a webcam, feel contact Pr. Nicole to talk about other options for you to join in by phone.

Advent Devotional

This year, we are trying a new Advent practice: creating a Together in Christ Advent devotional. Each day will have a short devotion written by someone from Salem or Zion as we move through this season of preparation together. (Pre)Advent Midweek Worship

This year, our Advent Midweek worship services are beginning a little early.  Our theme is “Wandering in the Wilderness: Learning to Trust God,” and while our Sunday readings will pick up this theme in Advent, they do for the last three weeks of the church year as well.  So, we will be spending more time in the theme of Advent, remembering how our spiritual ancestors were set free from slavery in Egypt, only to spend an entire generation wandering in the wilderness, learning what it meant to be God’s people.  Join us on our Facebook pages here.

Salem quilters are meeting at Salem on Mondays at 1:30 pm
Wednesday Kids Club  
Join us in our special Family Faith Time as a part of our Kids’ Club.  We are rolling this out right now, so each week you can see videos made by our wonderful Kids’ Club team.  We will be continuing to add content geared toward facilitating family faith conversations.  Whether you know it or not, you are your children’s biggest spiritual role model, and we want to help you to have these important conversations with your children.  Check out our Family Faith Time Google classroom here, and stay tuned for more updates about Kids’ Club.
